Ready to make The NEXTON your new home? Applying is simple!
Visit the Contact page on our website, fill out the short inquiry form with your name, contact details, and preferred move-in date. Once submitted, you’ll receive a secure link to complete your rental application online.

 

What do I need to apply?
You’ll need a valid photo ID, proof of income or enrollment, and contact details for any co-signers.


Is there an application fee?
Yes, a small application fee applies to cover background and credit checks.


How long does the approval process take?
Applications are typically reviewed within 2–3 business days.


The NEXTON Townhomes are currently under construction and will be ready for move-in starting June 1, 2026. As a brand-new development, The NEXTON is being built from the ground up to deliver modern design, high-quality finishes, and energy-efficient systems. 

Because this is new construction, residents will be the first to live in these homes—enjoying fresh, contemporary spaces in one of Minneapolis’s most walkable and connected neighborhoods, Southeast Como. 

Pre-leasing will begin ahead of completion, with limited availability for June 2026 occupancy. 


  No — The NEXTON Townhomes are designed as shared living communities, where roommates or household groups lease an entire 6-bedroom, 3.5-bath home together. Rather than individual room rentals, each group applies jointly for a full unit, allowing residents to choose their own roommates and create a comfortable shared-living environment that reflects their lifestyle and preferences.
